I’d like to do a cover of one of these two 80’s songs for a breakbeat/industrial project I’m working on-
which do you think would be more fitting, Devo’s Peek-a-Boo or Depeche Mode’s Policy of Truth?
clare- the same could be said about DEVO, but I want to do one that hasn’t been covered by 1,000,000 other bands (maybe I picked the wrong Depeche Mode song)

Don’t try to cover Depeche Mode. You can’t improve on perfection, and you’ll only ever be able to do a poor imitation.
